Student and Trainee Case Competition

CISTM16 Student and Trainee Case Competition

Are you a travel medicine student or trainee? Don't miss this opportunity to participate in the largest gathering of international travel medicine professionals.

The Local Organizing Committee welcomes you to submit an abstract for the CISTM16 Student and Trainee Case Competition in the field of travel medicine. Students, residents and fellows interested in submitting a case must complete the abstract submission form and email to ISTM (Jodi Metzgar) at jmetzgar@ISTM.org no later than 25 April 2019. Please use one form for each case you submit.

Submitted case-reports will be reviewed by a student-trainee review committee. A select number of cases will be invited to give an oral presentation of the case on the morning of 5 June 2019 and will receive a complimentary registration to the CISTM16 to be held at the Washington Hilton, 5-9 June 2019.

Three top winners of the competition, which will include both scoring of written and oral presentations, will receive a complimentary 2-year membership to the ISTM. You must be able to attend the CISTM and will present your case again during the 08.00 session on Saturday, 8 June 2019.

Our aim is to provide young scientists with the opportunity to participate in outstanding scientific programs, share new approaches and techniques, and interact with colleagues from around the world.
